AU Optronics’s G084SN05 V7 (Alias: G084SN05 V.7 | 8.4 inch diagonal a-Si TFT-LCD display screen 800(RGB)×600, SVGA I AUO) is a 8.4 inch diagonal a-Si TFT-LCD display screen product, with an incorporated CCFL lighting system, without backlight driver, without touch screen. As a TN, Normally White, Transmissive LCM product, G084SN05 V7 can provide 450 cd/m² display brightness 600:1 transmissive contrast ratio, 80/80/80/60 (Typ.) (CR≥10) (L/R/U/D) viewing angle, best view direction at 12 o’clock, and response time of 20/10 (Typ.) (Tr/Td) ms. 

Based on datasheet with version of Ver2.1 which was released out on 8 11 2008, G084SN05 V7 supports display 800(RGB)×600 (SVGA) with aspect ratio of 4:3 (W:H), whose pixels are arranged in RGB Vertical Stripe. As for mechanical detail, it features active area of 170.4(W)×127.8(H) mm, outline size of 203(W)×142.5(H)×8.3(D) mm, viewing area size of 174.15(W)×131.2(H) mm, with surface treatment of Anti Glare, Hard coating (3H), net weight of 260±10g. 

This product adopted 2 pcs CCFL as its backlight system which was placed as Edge light type (Top and Bottom) and have a working life time of 50K hours, external backlight driver is additionally needed.
