Description of SP14Q002-A1

HITACHI’s SP14Q002-A1 is a 5.7 inch diagonal FSTN-LCD display screen product, with an incorporated CCFL lighting system, without backlight driver, and without touch screen. Based on a datasheet with version Ver.7 which was released on 5 1 2012, SP14Q002-A1 supports display 320×240 (QVGA) with aspect ratio of 4:3 (W:H), whose pixels are arranged in Rectangle.

As for mechanical detail, it features active area of 115.185(W)×86.385(H) mm, outline size of 167(W)×109(H)×10(D) mm, viewing area size of 122.0(W)×92.0(H) mm, with surface treatment of Anti Glare. As a STN, Black/White (Negative), Transmissive LCM product, SP14Q002-A1 can provide 140 cd/m² display brightness, 25:1 transmissive contrast ratio, 40 (Typ.) (CR≥2, Φ2-Φ1) (L/R/U/D) viewing angle, best view direction at 6 o’clock, and response time of 120/150 (Typ.) (Tr/Td) ms., thus presenting a palette of Monochrome colors.

This product adopted 1 pcs CCFL as its backlight system which was placed as an Edge light type; an external backlight driver is additionally needed. SP14Q002-A1 utilizes Parallel Data (4-bit) as its signal inputting system, which is connected by 14 pins FPC with a power supply voltage of 3.3/5.0V (Typ.) (VDD).
